It's sad that many see it as a victory and are blinded to what it really means.

This is just one of the many laws and changes that will continue to impact Christians, if we stand against these laws we are intolerant and unloving. We know that the world will become increasingly difficult for us to live in and persecution will increase against those who stand for the Truth. Its very difficult, we can move to live somewhere where we think our chldren will be safer, our lives less exposed to the worlds sinfulness but as time passes, we will be unable to run from it as it spreads so fast and there is no safe haven. Even now some states are trying to take out legislation against fundamental Christians, declaring that they are a cult and indoctrinate their children against the world!! sadly, this sort of talk is actually supported by the new ecumenical church and where we once could turn for support inside the saftey of our church, we now find that we are up against increasing numbers of false teachers and ''new prophets''. Accused as we are of depriving our children of a ''normal life'' they are now suggesting that any Christian who takes their faith so seriously, is a danger to society and likens us to the mormon cults. It is scary if we dwell on this but we need to remember who really is in charge...and He will not forsake us. We may go through some horrid times, we may loose much that those of the world hold dear but our security is not here, it is an eternal security and we know our redeemer lives and will walk again upon this earth one day! Amen, Come Lord Jesus! Blessings, Sister Allene <><

Dear Sister Regina, I extend my hand to you and your family to move here in Michigan, however, be advised we have the highest unemployment rate of any state in the nation....I lived in California in 1977 and spent a great deal of time traveling all over, we lived in San Jose and were in San Francisco many times...(my cousins live in San Jose) I don't regret leaving one iota... I like the midwest here very much...
God bless and pray for the law makers to change that bill but fast.

Fear not ... Lean on Him ... Place your cares and worries into His loving hands ... Put all your faith and trust in Him ... without doubt

I heard about that Sis. Regina. I'm so glad we don't live there anymore. You are more than welcome to move here to Ohio with us. Is it also true that they have passed a law making it illegal to homeschool unless the parent has a teaching degree?

Our "wonderful" (liberal) New York governor just passed a law to recognize and give benefits to all those sodomites that get "married" in California, so you won't want to move here. Then he just made it so New Yorker have to pay tax on anything bought online from Amazon.com and said that most people wouldn't even notice! We're already so taxed that our gasoline costs more than most states around here. Are there any other nice little houses down there in Tennessee?

Yes, I read about this. Thing is, what happens in the US travels across to the Uk in a year or two! In Uk last year a Christian couple who had fostered for years were struck off because they refused to sign a paper saying they would take a foster child to gay orientation classes (?) if he or she wanted to go....they stood their ground but sadly will no longer be able to foster and there is such a need for that. As for Petrol (Gas) I am sorry sisters and brothers but we have been paying over 3 times what you guys pay for years and no one in the world really bothered....not very sympathetic I know!! trouble is, you have a car society, i was stunned when I visited the staes and in many places there is no where to walk!! incredible. Anyway, I hope you can get cheaper fuel soon.....whay do you think us poms have always had such small cars?? Sister Allene <><

Come on over to Texas. They're very homeschooler friendly here. We would love some more like-minded believers to come. The economy in Central Texas is not slowing down as quickly, either. Cassie

I also hear that in the United Kingdom they are trying to force the Catholic adoption agencies to adopt out to homosexual couples and their bishop said, "We'll close our doors before we submit to adopting to homosexual couples." At least someone is standing up and saying no. When I was in Florida a few years ago there was this big ad for "Gay Tourist Day" at Disney World. Then when we went to the store I saw 4 or 5 cars in the parking lot all with the same bumper sticker that said "If it's gay tourist season can we shoot them?" Forcing the homosexual agenda on a society that is against it is going to cause violence by the people who are not very Godly. It's a terrible thing.

apparently there is a law that all amuzements parks must allow for a gay day. we have a very friendly family oriented old fashion park near us and they HAVE to do it. but they don't advertise when it is and I think they pick a weekend that is not so crowded etc.
