Hi, brethren. I'm sorry I haven't been posting much lately, but I have been feeling pretty lousy. I don't want to get into too much detail (it's not really pleasant) but my body is acting really strangely lately. I've been having awful cramps and a host of other strange things, none of which have a decent explanation. I know I need to go to a doctor. I'm making an appointment as soon as I can (my Mom, who is out of town, has my Kaiser card...)
Could you please pray for me? It literally hurts to the point where I have to curl up in pain, and it's interrupting pretty much everything (Even sometimes when I'm praying I'm constantly distracted by the pain).
Love in Christ,
Little Sister Sarah

Praying for you! I endured the same thing when I was your age. Have you ever tried red raspberry leaf tea? It's easy to find at a health food/herb store.
Love and (((hugs))) Sis Tammy

Dear Little Sister Sarah,
I'm praying for you to get to feeling better. - Do you ever use a hot water bottle on the area where you're having pain? (Drinking carbonated drinks tend to cause me to cramp if I drink them a couple or three days in a week. Sometimes, Coca Cola really cramps me.)

Thank you all for your prayers. I'm feeling better, and it feels like it's going away (slowly ) ;D I have actually a ton of peppermint tea. I never thought it might help. I've also heard of using raspberry tea. I'll ask my Mom to pick some up (I'm a tea fanatic sometimes I have a little heating pad I ought to use, but lately the pain has just been for maybe fifteen minutes and then it goes away. Thank God Love in Christ, Little Sarah

Dear Little Sister, I'm glad you're feeling a little better. I'll be praying for you. It sure makes life hard when our bodies don't feel right!

Hello, again! My Mom woke me up this morning and had me talk to the advice nurse from the hospital. I have an appointment at 1 PM today. The nurse said it wasn't life-threatening (probably), but I'm still in need of a doctor visit. My symptoms have yo-yo'd over the last few days, and I feel icky. Less headache, though, thank God. Could you please pray for me? Thanks, sisters (and brethren!)
Love in Christ,
Sarah

Hello, everyone. I went to the doctor, and she sent me to the emergency room. It's not as bad as it sounds, I assure you! I had some blood drawn, and they hooked me up to an IV drip. I had lost so much blood that I was severely dehydrated. I feel a lot better now, praise God! I'm still tired and still a little bleeding, but some other problems are gone. I have an antibiotic I will start on Monday (I have to do some things at home first, I'll spare you the details). Thank you all for your prayers!
Love in Christ,
Little Sarah

Thanks, sister! It mostly has cleared up--we discovered that I am allergic to cow's milk, cheese, ice cream, and butter. It was pretty surprising, but I'm glad that we know what was wrong! I also had a nasty stomach bug, so that was also flaring up. I am still having some symptoms that my Mom and I are beginning to suspect are indicative of an allergy to gluten (a protein present in wheat, barley, rye, and pretty much every processed item you can think of). I have to go through a battery of tests soon, and I'll make sure to let you all know what's going on Love in Christ, Little sister Sarah
