I know some in this fellowship have chosen not to be involved in the election process, and i do respect your opinion there, but if you will allow me some time i do want to get this off my chest. Never in my life, though short (37 years), have i seen a candidate who stands so radically against what i believe as a born again believer and what our nation truly stands for than Barack Obama. His brand of "christianity" is heretical at best and his political stance is rooted in marxism (goes back to his religious beliefs) and socialism. And so many, even some who claim to be born again, are falling for his lies. If you do vote, please prayerfully consider who you vote for. I'm by no means endorsing John McCain, because until he chose his running mate i wasn't even sure i was voting for him...but prayerfully consider who you vote for based on God's Word and our country's constitution (in that order). If you feel led to vote for a 3rd party, like i had planned until recently, do so with a firm conviction that God led you to that decision.
If you don't vote, please, please, PLEASE pray for God's will to be done. I don't know if God's will is for us to have a President Obama, and it scares me to say that...but if it is, i do know we will need to seek Him and His face like never before.
My faith is in God alone, but i do love this country that God has blessed me to be born into and i only want the best for it.

My stance is best expressed by a bumper sticker NO-Bama. The Chinese lobby has been pouring money into the Democrat coffers ever since Clinton opened the door to free trade with them - this spells foreign influence to me. As a result this dear nation of ours has lost hundreds of thousands of jobs to the cheap Chinese slave labor force. Then Clinton deregulated the banks who responded by offering free credit cards to high school students and college students. Now we have a debt crisis. This country is under attack from within. It's not terror cells it's the Democrat party. Ever since they let the homosexuals boo the Boy Scouts at their Democrat convention in 2000, it's been a steady hate campaign against conservatives, American jobs, and American values of freedom of religion. Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox. I see it and pray and pray because it is just so EVIL what they are doing.

I am praying for the election. I don't know that we have anyone on the ballot that I can vote for in good conscience. Oh, btw, I will soon be 37.. ;D

My attitude has been like that, too: ANYTHING to keep Obama out of the oval office!! Even vote for a man who does not hold many of the important values that TRUE christians hold. ...But recently Daniel and I are changing our minds. There actually is a man running for president who we can vote for in good conscience, and that is Chuck Baldwin. Please check him out: baldwin08.com/ Just his stands on the sanctity of life and foreign policy were enough to convince us.
