For those of you who want to have a well stocked pantry, I thought I would share what we have done so far, we have alot to learn yet but we have put alot of thought and hard work into stocking our pantry.
We have two pantries one small L shaped 3x7 in one direction and 3x10 in the other direction. We keep our most used items in here, plus holiday and party decorations.
We have a basement pantry room that is 9x11 and also shelves in bedrooms that hold cleaning supplies and soaps, and also spices.
We store big boxes of toilet paper and paper towels in the attic.
We have started to stock up on...
Soap ( big pkg...8 to 10 bars. ) We have bought quite a bit.
Washing Soda
Fels Naptha Soap
Glycerin Soap For Laundry and Cleaning
Baking Soda (we brush our teeth with this and use for cleaning around the house...it's also very good for an upset stomach, add 1 tsp to a mug of cold water drink and feel the relief.
Activated Charcoal
Borax
Vinegar White and Apple Cider
Bleach
Mean Green
Ammonia
Alcohol
Peroxide
Aspirin 81 mil can be given to children and adult. Compare dosage on baby aspirin and give the same. Baby aspirin has dangerous fake sweetener added.
Ibuprofen
Triple Antibiotic Ointment
Band aids
Bandages
Medical Tape
Super Glue
Tea Tree Oil
Saline eye drops
Glass eye droppers
Vit C
Cod Liver Oil (for Ben's Arthritus...it really works!)

Or a Flint and Steel
Favorite spices...again find the best deal you can find, box them up and save them
Bouillon Cubes
Whole wheat...invest in a wheat grinder, you can make everything with it, sift the bran out to make biscuits, cookies, cakes
Raw Sugar or you could buy white if you like
Pancake Mix
Cake mixes and other sweet things you like
Simi Sweet chocolate chips
Powdered sugar
Brown Sugar
Ketchup
BBQ Sauce
Dressing
Mayo
Mustard
Pickle relish
Honey
Syrup
Soy Sauce
Peanut butter
Parmesan Cheese
Noodles...spagghetti (angel hair) (our favorite!), elbow, shell, and other favorites!
Buy 25lb of rice
10-25lb of dried beans, you can also stock up on 1lb bags as well

Crackers... Saltine, Wheat, etc
Dry Cereals
Grits ( if you say what is a grit?...just forget it! ;D...leave out the grits) We love grits around here. Yummy!
Lg cans and regular size cans of favorite Veggies...
