Dear Prayerful Friends, Two days ago I was speaking with my daughter in law and she mentioned that one of their foster sons went to live with his father, which is good, however, there are 2 more foster children, half siblings, a little boy, who is 3 and a little girl who is 5, and their mother will lose her parental rights and they will formally go up for adoption in August of this year. My daughter in law and son in law will not adopt them, as they just don't have the "parental feelings" that these are the children they are to adopt, or something like that. I asked her about a family member adopting them both, and she said it is far more easily done if the foster family's family adopts, than a stranger, there are no relatives that are capable of adopting these two precious children, just great grandparents and a great aunt who is battling cancer.
So Jeffrey and I have discussed it and are going to see what we have to do in order to attempt to adopt our foster grandchildren.
I ask for any of you to please keep this close in your hearts and prayers, as these children do not come to any home without problems from their former parents....and we know this is what the Lord wants for us to do...
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
With love, Sister Penny

Oh Lord,
We just come to you now in the precious name of Jesus on behalf of our friend and sister, Penny and brother Jeffery. Would you please give them wisdom and peace to make this most important decision. If this is your will, please put your guiding hand of blessing upon them and the process. Also, if this is your will, I pray that these dear little ones would come in and be a blessing to Penny and Jeffery as they open their hearts and home to them.
Amen

Oh what a blessing children are in our daily lives. I will keep this most important matter in my prayers.
Bro Ben have talked about adopting, though it is very expensive and we do not have the finances available at this time, we have entrusted this desire of our into the loving hands of God and if He sees fit He will provide a way for us to adopt a child in the future. Maybe a pregnant young lady who cant take care of a child will give her baby to us. God can do the impossible!
I am so excited for yall. What a wonderful ministry to do for the Lord...raising a godly seed or family for God.
Blessings to you and Jeff as you seek the Lord.
Love your sister and friend, ~ sister Darlene ~
