That is so sweet!
Remember how our farm animals would act when something bad was happening?
Once the a dog was attacking a chicken in the back yard and our cat comes flying out of the barn like a lightning bolt and was all over that dog, scratching him all up and freeing the chicken!
Another time my little girl was holding our Tea Cup Chihuahua and our big lab was try to get at the little dog, my little girl was screaming and our cat comes out of nowhere and attacks our huge black lab dog, giving us time to get the tiny dog out of harms way.
We had a horse that liked to escape in the middle of the night and go across the street to the neighbors barn and visit their horses and get into their grain, well one night Houdini got out and our other horse started bellowing we woke in a start and went to see what the problem was and found her telling on the other horse...she did this often when he would escape. I like a tattle tale. ;D
One morning a dog was in my chickens and both of my hoses were bellowing and carrying on and I came out and found my best rooster in the mouth of a dog, I screamed at the dog and he released him...Praise the Lord.
Animals are smarter than we think.
