Hi there brothers and Sister Please pray for the UK. At the moment the government are trying to force gay rights on faith communities. In practice this means evangelical Churches. This will take place in the form of forcing Churches to employ openly homosexual youth workers. www.christian.org.uk/news/20090520/government-to-force-gay-youth-workers-on-church/ (The above link is the Christian institute, you may not agree with everything they believe but they are strong fundamentalist Christians) We are living the days where each man does right in his own eyes. What makes matters worse we have a prominent Christian minister, who became a politician, he because of his Political job forsook the Bible and sided with the government in bringing about homosexual equality bills. For instance if you run a Christian guest house you have to allow a homosexual couple to sleep in the same bed under your roof, you cannot legally turn them away. Or if you are a photographer you would have to do the photo's for gay weddings, you could not refuse. God bless Gail

There is only more to come. A report on the front page of the Daily Mail [May 14] told how anybody who has any concerns over homosexuals adopting young children is official regarded by the British Association for Adoption and Fostering [BAAF] as RETARDED HOMOPHOBES Liverpool town hall flew the so called 'gay' rainbow flag last Sunday, and earlier this year, a Police Station in London flew the flag. The probable next Prime Minister, David Cameron, has also accepted an invitation to the London gay pride parade this year. Don't get me started on what I found during a visit to Blackpool last year! I don't know. It will only get worse. Once the seeds have been planted... The more I think of it, the more I think 2 things; 1) It's too late for prayers. Say what?? It's never too late, right? wrong, it says in Jeremiah 7:16 - Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to Me: for I will not hear thee. 2) Jesus said in Luke 17, as it was in the days of Noe, likewise as it was in the days of Lot, thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. So when I see these signs, it makes me both thankful and happy that we don't have too long to wait for the return of our King. Bro. Steve

Bro. Steve, What powerful powerful passages, and how true they ring. These are the last days and the newspaper is just a sounding board for the veracity of God's word! They don't see God anywhere and in their self-decption and wickeness, they preach Him from every rooftop. "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." (Rev. 1:7)

Dear sister Gail,
Thank you for posting this article, it is interesting to me to hear what is going on in other countries. That is horrible, Who needs youth workers? Next they'll demand gay pastors, but at least you can choose your church with a straight Pastor, Amen?
I am shocked at what you and Bro Steve tell us is going on in England. It coming our way... Good to see you on Brother Steve, We miss you when your not posting. I hope you are doing well.
Great Verses I think you just might be right.
What wickedness prevails.
Blessings to you Brother Steve!Good to see you Brother Jim, your wife is such a blessing, and it's good to see you posting too.
Did you get a new job? It is what you were looking for? I sure hope so, Yall are in our thoughts and prayers. May the Lord greatly Bless you and your family.
Wow! these are two story's that seem to be really bad. These type of things do go on in America, and are upsetting. There is a ministry called , '' Christian Law Association. '' They send out a news letter telling of cases they are involved in. It is sometimes scary to hear all that goes on. www.christianlaw.org/They will send you a free News Letter. We supported this ministry for many years. They are a godly, worthy ministry to support.
I wonder if the Couple in California lived in a neighborhood with neighborhood rules, and 15 people would cause there to be alot of cars, that could cause upset from the neighborhood. Maybe they weren't complying with their neighborhood rules.
Then I read the article about the Campus in Ohio, Quote: "There are many times when police hassle us and intimidate or bully us on campus, and usually we stand them down and are successful in defending our rights to freedom of speech," Storms told WND. Stand them down...defending their rights and freedom? "I can count on one hand the number of times we've had an arrest situation." Quote: Storms himself was detained by police, when after speaking freely with students on campus for a couple of hours, he approached Officer Michael Beane to inquire about the charges filed against the other two evangelists. Storms and Beane then got into an argument,(Peaceable Christians?) resulting in the officer claiming he was being harassed and Storms being detained in a holding cell. Quote: The situation escalated, however, when Officer Beane demanded that a member of the evangelism team surrender a cell phone that had been taping the incident. Faithful Soldier student Katie Carroll refused to give up her phone and hid behind fellow evangelist team member Daniel Pollion. What happened next is highly disputed. Natasha Baker, director of public relations for the campus police force, told WND Pollion struck Beane in the face. "We have witness testimonies, students who did see the officer being punched by one of the demonstrators and at that point [Pollion] was arrested," Baker said. "We have not had anyone file a police report stating otherwise." Punched?Quote: Pollion, who was released from jail today upon posting $2,000 bond, told the Dayton Daily News, "It can't be construed as assault or even attempted assault. They were on the offensive, not us." Storms told WND his organization has witnesses of their own that say Pollion merely asked the officer to "chill out" (Chill Out) when he was placed in a headlock and wrestled to the ground. Storms said Beane radioed in a phantom "fight" and phony charge that he had been assaulted. "Three of our people were standing there watching the entire thing as well as Sinclair College students," Storms said. "We have numerous direct, eyewitness testimonies. There was no punch, no assault, nothing like that. It was just a crazy cowboy officer acting belligerently and making his third arrest of the day of a group of Christians peacefully trying to witness." It sounds like to me these so called ''Christian Evangelists'', might need to spend some time in jail, sounds like they behave themselves in an ungodly, unchristian way to me. They cry persecution! Shame on them...they are a bad testimony for christianity. They might be the very ones to bring on Persecution in our land...Both cases here might be christians stubbornly breaking laws all in the name of Christianity!
I think you would enjoy the News Letter from Christian Law Association, Bro Ben and I sure do. Quote: The next thing will be to make homeschooling illegal they have done that in Germany. Sister Gail,
That is awful, I hope they don't outlaw homeschooling.
They tried to do that here in Calafornia, but the people spoke up and reversed it. They did the same on same sex marriage, and the people won against it again. Anybody with one eyeball and half since knows that marriage is between male and female.
Have a great day!
Love, ~sister Darlene ~

Thanks Sister Darlene, I'm doing great, and I believe I'm going from strength to strength I always try to have a look at the latest posts here, although sometimes I'm happy just to read and catch up with what's going on, rather than post myself. I said; "Liverpool town hall flew the so called 'gay' rainbow flag last Sunday, and earlier this year, a Police Station in London flew the flag." It was brought to my attention today that last week, 41 police stations in and around London flew the so called 'gay' rainbow flag, to mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. Four other police forces copied this action, as well as various town halls around the country. Now, in a bizarre twist, a town hall in Bourne, Lincolnshire, wanted to fly the St Georges cross, that is, the flag of England on the queens birthday - but has been banned from doing so because officials say it is too risky to climb up a ladder and put the flag on the pole! It's against health and safety laws! [funny, there's never been a problem for almost 200 years ] Think of it! It's fine to raise up the gay banner all around the country, and yet your banned from raising up your very own countries flag. If anybody can explain this to me, please do, because I am baffled Bro Steve

sorry to say I don't think so. Once about 20 years ago we wanted to start a church in a home and were told we could not do so because of zoning laws in Philadelphia Pa. there were only 4 families at the time. but we did call it a church not a Bible Study. In the Nazareen church we attended at the time we had house church (small group bible study) in NJ. Our particular one got up to like 20 people we were actually going to split it in two but anyway police showed up and asked what we were doing every week etc etc. I was young then and not the owner of the house so I don't know exactly what was said but I think now in these times it would even be worse.
having had experiences like that we are cautious. One of the concerns I have is about inviting the "lost" unknown into our home. I like to get to know them first. shrug shoulders. I am in conflict over this within myself. I want to say hey everyone welcome strangers et al. but I have had experiences in the past where this would not be ideal or safe to do so. It's a hard call. where is fear keeping you from doing God's will vs being wise etc.
anyway, the times are getting worse...Come Lord Jesus Come!

Dear Bro Steve,Quote: 41 police stations in and around London flew the so called 'gay' rainbow flag, to mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.Homophobia and Transphobia! The bible, the Word of God, speaks against it. And the bible also says,....Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Quote: Now, in a bizarre twist, a town hall in Bourne, Lincolnshire, wanted to fly the St Georges cross, that is, the flag of England on the queens birthday - but has been banned from doing so because officials say it is too risky to climb up a ladder and put the flag on the pole! What a shame, it sounds like the Asians and Sodomites have taken over England, and now there going for America. Lets hope there efforts will be in vain. I hope America is the great Eagle the book of the Revelation is speaking of. If the Sodomites, and Asians (India and Muslims) take over they sure will not do anything to help Israel. So maybe America will be preserved and greatly used by God in the last days.I sure hope so...We can hope. Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. It must be highly frustrating watching all this happen around you in your mother country, England. I wonder what the Queen mother thinks about all this? Shocking it is! ................................................................................................................................................................................................................ Dear sister Nancy,Quote: Once about 20 years ago we wanted to start a church in a home and were told we could not do so because of zoning laws in Philadelphia Pa. That is awful what happened in PA , and New Jersey! I might of read about these cases in The Christian Law association news letters in the past. Yall would enjoy that ministries news letter.
We are to render unto Cesar that which is Cesar's, and unto God that which is Gods. The government makes rules, zoning laws, and ordinances, and we as christians are to abide by the laws of the land unless it goes against scripture. They have not told christians they cannot meet, they have just ask them to abide by the laws set forth. Christians do not have to break zoning laws, ordinances, or neighborhood rules. Christians need to find places that they can meet according to the law, or try to work at getting the law changed, but never to break the law. They have not said christians can't meet.
We as christians need to get along with the Laws of the land, and try to be peaceable, and law abiding, for the testimony of Christ. ( Our country, and government has not ask us to disobey God, we should be thankful of that. ) Just look at what's going on in England. We do not need to bring persecution to America, breaking rules, and laws, and demanding our rights. Change the Laws don't break them. The bible says,...Rom 14:16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: Hope yall are having a great day sister Nancy. Did Jim find the kind of job he was looking for? Still praying!
Love, ~ sister Darlene ~

I am very concerned with the eroding condition the church has in America. It is grievous when we see clear violations to the rights that have been afforded to us by the Constitution. However, there are times when some do not obey clear ordinances stated by local, county, state, and the federal government that cause a believer or believers to fall out of good standing with the community and the authorities. I believe that is what happened in the case of the San Diego assembly. Here is an interesting followup regarding the San Diego assembly that was denied the right to meet. I think it is our responsibility of obey the laws of the land as long as they do not ask us to violate the principles of scripture. I believe in the right to assemble as given by the Constitution, however, I also believe that we might have to meet in agreement with the wishes of our local municipality when crowded parking and other inconveniences come to play. They neighbors have as much right to easily access their home and driveways as do the believers to meet. The believers should forebear and give up their "right" and find a more conducive place to meet, in this case. I think the letter by the administrative officer of San Diego County was very fair and very open to religious liberty. Bro. Ben Bro. Ben

Thank you Bro Ben for finding that article! I thought something like that was the problem. Quote: I think the letter by the administrative officer of San Diego County was very fair and very open to religious liberty. I agree! I know there are trouble makers in America against God and the things of God, but christians need to be careful not to cause people or the Law, to have a reason to attack them.
Romans 14:16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
