The Pope has condemned a 'disgusting' taxpayer-funded exhibition in which visitors are urged to deface the Bible.
Visitors were offered pens by gallery bosses so they could scrawl comments on the text - leading to a host of puerile and obscene remarks.
Pope Benedict XVI believes the stunt would not have been contemplated with a copy of the Koran.
His anger over the show, organised by council-funded arts body Culture and Sport Glasgow, was expressed by a senior Vatican priest.
The adviser to the Pope said: 'It is disgusting and offensive. They would not think of doing it to the Koran.'
The Made In God's Image exhibit is the work of Glasgow artist Anthony Schrag. He wanted gays and transsexuals who felt left out of religion to 'write their way back in' to the holy text.
I note Rev22:18 & 19;
18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
I shall send an open letter to The Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow, Scotland about this matter.

Here is a copy of the open letter I will send to the gallery tomorrow; Dear Friends, I am deeply concerned about reports in the media regarding the Made in Gods image exhibit, and the manner in which the Bible was used.
I will make two points for you to consider, to wit; regarding adding to, or changing the text, and secondly acknowledgment and repentance for what has taken place.
I understand the artist wanted the so-called ‘LGBT’ community to ‘write their way back into the text’, at least, that is what I took from the media coverage.
Revelation 22:18-19 says;
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
This shows the very idea behind this exhibition work is totally unacceptable, in the eyes of the Lord, as well as, showing there will be consequences for such actions.
Leviticus 18:22 says;
Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind; it is abomination.
This is but one example of verses that apply to the ‘LGBT’ community. It is unacceptable to encourage people to write contrary to this standard - whether they are writing on a bible or not. Remember, the standard doesn’t change, just because you can’t meet it.
I hope all involved have now seen that the type of conduct involved in your exhibition was a huge, fallacious mistake, and I would be grateful if you could provide a written guarantee that this type of exhibition will not be repeated in the future.
Although I would welcome an apology for what, at best, might be described as a major miss-calculation in judgement, it is not me that requires an apology, to wit; I would urge each and every person involved to sincerely repent, that is; beg God Almighty for forgiveness for their part in this matter, to wit;
Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of thy mouth. [Revelation 2:16]
Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. [Ezekiel 18:30b]
Pray much for yourselves, I am, Yours faithfully
