One of our new members, bro. Seth, and his family were on their way down to visit us. On the way they were informed that Denise's mom had a stroke and is not doing well. They were just going to stay a few days and then drive to see her mom. Well, they have just been informed that they need to get there NOW. Apparently things have taken a turn for the worse so they are flying out of Nashville in the morning. Please pray for God's grace and peace for their family and for traveling mercies.
Ben

I spoke to Seth yesterday afternoon and he told me Denise's mom went home to be with Jesus at 5 P.M. Saturday evening. The memorial service and funeral will be next Saturday. Please keep this dear family in prayer as they take care of all the business at hand.
correction He told me they considered a chemically induced comma, but opted not to. She showed some sign of improvement on her own, but never did come all the way around. Her eyes were open, but she never talked. Knowing, that as with many, the hearing is the last thing to go, they sang, prayed, and read scripture to her before she passed. They got in Friday evening and got to spend roughly 24 hours with her before she went.
Psa 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD [is] the death of his saints.

Praise God that she went home to be with Him apparently without much pain and suffering. I know it is tough on the family to lose a loved one such as that. I shall be praying the Lord grant them Peace, Strength and Comfort.
In Christ, George

We are all very much comforted by the prayers from the saints, and especially the word of the LORD. The Lord has been comforting us with the comfort that HE has worked out in the lives of other believers as well. This is a major part of the "all things working out for good"
Memorial service: Please pray for the salvation of Souls by the working of the Spirits power, and many hearts would burn within as we hear of Christ receiving one of HIS children into Glory.
We thank the LORD for you all
Peace be in us all, as Christ is in us
Seth
