I have an old union suit (thermal one, cute) that I'm turning into a nightgown. It's fun and a learning experience. I also found some old missionary veils I'm going to turn into kerchief coverings too. Kat

Besides quilting the Bible blocks, I thought I'd try to learn how to knit socks this winter. The sun goes down early and since we do not watch movies or even have a television that leaves a lot of learning time for me.

Sister Trinity I thought I would share with you one of my favorite places to get free patterns it is: www.knittingpatterncentral.com/ They have all kinds of patterns. I am trying to catch onto knitting socks too, but something isn't clicking in this old head of mine. I mostly do prayer shawls which is my favorite and simple too! I think I could crochet with my eyes closed, but knitting doesn't come as easily for me! Hope you like that site. Blessings and Prayers! Sister Pamela

Sister Kat, I'm really interested in your Union Suit turned nightgown! How ingenious! Hope you can hang it up when you are finished sewing it and take and post a photo of it! Sounds like a great project! Blessings and Prayers! Sister Pamela

I've been looking over that site and found some interesting projects to add to my knitting bag! The gloves look a bit difficult but that easy no-sew sweater seems like a good challenge www.knittingpatterncentral.com/patterns/easy_no_sew_sweater.php
Again, thank you, Pamela!

Cool I need to knit more, I use my loom thingies for hats and stuff. It's hard to find good American yarn here, it's all too thin and runny. Sure! I'll take a pic of the union suit when I'm done. I've been sidetracked a bit with it though, I'm a slowpoke with projects lol. Kat
