It only took about 6 hours and not too bad since I did it all by hand. Here are the pics of the finished product . This was the union suit I changed from pants. Front of Nightgown Back of Gown Kat

How clever! And talented! Thanks for showing the photo, I was having a hard time trying to imagine it in my mind. It looks great. I know you will enjoy it. Keep up the good work! Blessings and prayers, Sister Pamela

That turned out great! looks store bought. You did a really good job converting that pair of pants into a beautiful gown and all by hand, even with tags included.
This is a silly question, just chalk it up for me being pregnant. What are union pants? And why did they have pretty pink flowers on them.
Union- like at a Factory
or
Union- like Reenactment
;D We can't figure it out...I feel stupid.
Have a great day sister Katrina!

Thanks everyone! It did amaze me how well it came out. I didn't like them as pants, I needed a new nightgown anyway. (I'm too cheap to pay 10 euros lol!) Oh union suit is just an old term for thermal undies, here's a link to a picture. www.swainsinc.com/storeframe.html?store/union_suite_large.html~mainFrameMine was girly with more loose material though. I cut about 7 inches off the leg and 3 inches off the arm and they fit perfectly LOL, I must of been swimming in that thing. Kat

Oh ok...now I understand. Those Union Pants look warm...I should get Bro Ben some one day. They probably keep you warm in Finland.

They are nice and warm, I am terrible with one piece things so I like the two piece thermals more.
