I got this email from a family member. We do ask for everyone's prayers. Here is the prayer request in her words.
Thank you,

Just wanted to ask for prayer for Greg, my son-in law who is fighting the war in Afghanistan. Eight men were killed in his Brigade and things are deteriorating quickly.
His chaplain has allowed him to preach a couple of times and he is now considering becoming a chaplain once he leaves the military. I can’t begin to tell you what this young man means to our family. He and his now 6 year old daughter Lexie has been one of the best additions and greatest blessings in our lives. They are more than we asked or hoped for. He adores our daughter and our God. What more could you ask for?
Tiffany has an apartment here in Leavenworth where she will live until his return in May.
His full name is Gregory Daniel Clark. Below is the latest note I got from him which is typical of his faith.
On a positive note, it feels great to know that there are men of great character fighting this war so when you get on your knees tonight, please send one up for our Greg.
Mom,
Hey mom I cant tell you how much it means to hear that you are so concerned but dont worry about me. I have the Lord on my side and that means regardless of what happens I will be ok with the lord as my guide. I love you guys so much. I cant wait to see you again. I dont need anything that I can think of. Things are pretty good right now and quiet. I heard about the chiefs but I hope that they can win a few this year.
Any camera would be awesome. I dont have one so one old one is a lot better than nothing at all. It is still hot here I was sweating pretty good today and you’re right I would probably still be in shorts. I cant wait to be home and be able to do that again. I miss you and love you guys alot. Have a great day. GOD BLESS!!!!
Greg
Thank you,
Rena Kay
