Ya'll need to pray for the election in Massachusetts. The seat vacated by the late Sen. Kennedy could possibley be won by a conservative man of character, Scott Brown, (a Republican, and yes I know, I am not a party man.) But, it would upset the apple cart for all those who are bent on this ruinous Health Bill. Ben

Our family is praying too. And each Wednesday our church family gathers together for prayer also and we always pray for our nation and it's leadership. God is still in control, and I believe he holds back his hand from destroying this country because of the handful of dedicated Christians around this country who still beg God's mercy upon us all. Let's all dedicate ourselves to fervent prayer for our country, God is still in the business of miracles. Praying, Sister Pamela Johanna

He's not as strong on all the issues you and I would see as important, but he had the forsight to tell the people of Mass. that the vacated was not Teddy Kennedy's seat, or the Democrats seat, OR the Republicans seat, but the seat of the people of the State of Mass. Good answer. I believe that's what got him the election.

The election of Scott Brown was a huge blessing! It's good to see the American people beginning to wake up out of their lethargy and start working to bring back the America that our founding fathers began.

Praise the Lord that the "fog" seems to be lifting! America can still rise from the ashes of liberalism and turn to God again. II Chronicles 7:14 says..."If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Let's pray America will recognize the call to wake up. Praying, Sister Pamela Johanna

I have been very hesitant to issue any kind of praise about the gentleman who was recently Senator from Massachusetts. I believe many have overlooked the fact he is a career politician although at the state level. He has been "politicized." His true colors surfaced this morning on the nationwide media. Senator Brown supports abortion rights! And people think he is a conservative republican. In order to ascertain a person's true colors it is wise to look beyond the surface and the fluff. While it is true that at least there is now a Republican Senator in Massachusetts he leans more to the Democratic liberal side than that of a conservative Republican. www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/01/31/brown-federal-funding-yes-abortion-rights/?test=latestnewsIf you click on that link you can read the story as reported this morning by FoxNews. The man needs our prayers. In Christ, George

Alas! I guess we have to be content with one who is somewhat better than Teddy Kennedy, until God's sends someone better or peradventure, he (Scott Brown) repents. Those are babies, not blobs, I've got a bunch of the little honey's! Let's pray together that the Lord would get ahold of Sen. Brown's heart in that important area. Here is his email address. Let's sweetly ask him to consider changing this view? Scott.P.Brown@state.ma.us or link to his site: Sen. Scott Brown The email link is down on the left under Contact Senator Brown. Ben

How sad to find out this information on Scott Brown. I have to say that I missed that bit of information. I watch Fox News all the time. Sad to say, that this country is in the same shape as Sodom and Gomorrah. It breaks my heart to see our nation in such a sad state. The news is so depressing anymore. At times it makes me feel helpless and hopeless. BUT.....God is still in control and always will be. And that brings me hope.
