Whoowee it's been the year of going to anything medical between me and Hubby, he's tired of it and so am I. Anywho, Hubby has a cavity we think and we both have awful sinusitis for a couple months.
Can you pray that the Emergency Dental will get Hubby in on the same day and everything will be easy to fix? Also that God will bless his dentist with wisdom?
Also that I could get some antibiotics for my sinus/ear infection from our walk in office?
Thanks very much and God bless!

Count your blessings Sister, count your blessings. I have been doing the medical "thing" for 7 1/2 years. Last week I had two doctors appointments, three visits to the vampires at the lab to get blood sucked out, CT scans of the chest abdomen and pelvis plus of course visits to the pharmacy sandwiched in between.
I start the day off today with two doctors visits. Here I go again!
The bottom line is that the Lord knows what I need to get me through each day and He provides me with it. When I think I am "getting tired" of all this I think of what the Bible has to say:
(2Co 12:7) And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
(2Co 12:8) For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
(2Co 12:9) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (Emphasis mine)
HIS grace is sufficient for me. I will admit that at times I lose sight of that fact but at the end of the day I am still here, I am hurting, I still have cancer, I still have to take all kinds of pills, I still have to go to doctors visits constantly yet I am an extremely blessed man.
Do you ever have difficulty with trying to wrap your mind around why God does something? When I get head strong and try to wrap mine around why God has kept me alive for these 7 1/2 years it makes me cry and gives me a huge headache. I just can't do it.
The bottom line is don't ever "get tired' of medical appointments. Don't ever "get tired" of taking ills. Don't ever "get tired" of treatments. Praise God that He has provided them for you because one of these days He may just look down from Above and say, "Okay, have it your way." (Please understand I am not trying to put words into the Lord's mouth, merely laying out a possible scenario.) When it gets to that point and He says to Himself that you are tired of what he has provided for you, He may just decide to take it away and then were would we be? The answer for me is that I would be dead.
In Christ, George

I will pray for you and your husband. George is right about counting your blessings. My Dad got diagnosed with a rare brain tumor when I was 13. He was given 6 months to live, but was expected to only live 2 weeks. I am now about to turn 26 and he is still here! We have as a family went through many financial and emotional strains. My Dad has many complications from the tumor, especially neurological. He is now on disability. He has been in so much pain and been on so many medicines, yet he holds strong. I am not sure I could be so strong, especially after 13 years. Our family praises God every day that my Dad is still here. He was a workaholic before and his illness has made it possible for him to create relationships with all of us. He lived to see me marry and have him 3 grandchildren. The Bible says we are to praise God in everything. This is hard when you are facing struggles of any sort. But, we must try. I just prayed for you and your husband. I hope all gets better soon.

Thanks very much! I appreciate the help and prayers! I think I was feeling down because we caught a flu at the specialist office last week. We're resting up before doing any other doctor things and we're both doing better. Thanks again!
