Easy Bread and Butter Pickles
8 quarts sliced cucumbers 4 cups onions 4 cups vinegar 8 tsp salt 2 tsp mustard seed 2 tsp turmeric powder 2 tsp celery seed
Soak cucumbers overnight in brine made of 2 quarts water and ½ cup pure salt. Drain and rinse well. Combine all ingredients in large enamel kettle. Bring to a boil. Cook 5 minutes at good boil. Put in hot, sterilized jars and seal. Blessings~Sister Pamela
