Hi everyone! Anyone have opinions on Debi and Michael Pearl? I just finished her book, Created to be His Help-Meet, and I liked it. Anyone have opinions about other writings by them, or their organization?

I read Created about a year ago and loved it!!! There were a few things I disagreed with, but overall I gleaned a lot of truth and wisdom 
I also receive their newsletter, I think it's going totally electronic soon which I am sad about  I don't want to sit at my computer and read it...blah. But I love gleaning ideas from that as well, it's about child training mostly and some advice to married couples.

their literature is generally pretty good. However, we don't like some of the unkind child training techniques taught in the 'To Train Up a Child,' books.
We fellowship about 1/4 a mile away from their headquaters. Their church is not very well liked in the community and is liberal.

Brother Ben,
Just curious, what makes their church disliked in the community? Also, why do you think they are liberal? I'm not disagreeing, I don't know enough about them to really have an opinion, but Created to be His Help-meet seemed very, very conservative to me, so maybe its not representative of their other works?
