I'd like to ask you brothers and sisters to pray for Darlene. On occasions she has a stroke-like condition, It is similar to Bell's Palsy, but it affects more than just her face, but cause discomfort down her right side. It was really bothering her yesterday, and today is somewhat better, but I would like it if she was experiencing 100% relief. Thank you.
Bro. Ben

I remember you all in my prayers often. I am not able to get on her very often but you all are in my thoughts constantly. I have learned so much from your site here and you all have been such an encouragement to me that I regularly think about you all and this site. I will keep Sis. Darlene in my prayers.

I will keep Sister Darlene in prayer as well. I hope she is feeling better today. Just to let you know, Brother Ben, there is a type of migraine called a "hemiplegic migraine" and the symptoms mimic a mini-stroke. Don't know if any doctor has suggested this as a possibility for her. I was diagnosed with this last year. Symptoms are usually localized to one side of the body. When I get an "attack" my face will go numb and it will feel heavy with pins-and-needles sensation, my arm will feel heavy and weak and sometimes I'll have somewhat slurred speech. After an hour or longer the symptoms go away but you still have a "hang over" type of feeling.

Thank you so much for keeping me in prayer. I sure appreciate it. I'm thankful for all the caring sisters here and the brothers who have prayed for me as well.
Every blue moon I get a weird sensation on my right side of my face, so tender I can hardly touch my face, it's mainly around my eye and sometimes goes down the right side of my face. This time my eyes got blurry. I also do not feel well during this time. It only lasts a few days and then goes away. My right side if my chest hurt this time. It only happens every couple of years or so.
I'm fine now. I just rest when it happens.
I have a heart problem that bothers me often and I have chest pains on my right side my left upper arm swells 2 1/2 in bigger than my right arm. Now that's a little alarming. I take aspirin and relax and rest alot. Then it subsides...until stress arises. Yes I'm a female and a high strung one at that. I have to work hard on my stress levels. There is always something stressful to deal with when you are on the front lines, living for the Lord and reaching out to others. Satan hates active, serious christians, who are devoted to the Lord. Yall know this already in your own lives. Some of us handle stress and challenges and attacks better than others. I wish I were laid back and calm natured. I have come a very long way but still have much further to go. The heart problems are there no matter what my personality type though, my Mama is an introvert and very laid back and she has the same heart defect as I have, my Grandmother (Nana) had it to. Nana had a pace maker, Mama has a defibrillator...I do not want either. When it's my time I Go! I'm here as long as God chooses to use me in my families life and others. The bible says to number our days.Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Thank you all for your precious prayers!
Love ~ sister Darlene ~
