Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving. Kevin did his introduction when we joined the board --I think about a year ago now! I am unfortunately a procrastinator. I am trying to work on that and God is helping me to be more on top of most things!
Kevin and I have been married for over 12 years and we have two beautiful daughters. Lorien (almost 8) and Eleora (almost 2), and we are expecting our newest arrival on December 7th although it could be anytime now. (I can't sleep tonight for some reason hence the very late post!) I am on modified bed rest due to my blood pressure rising if I sit or stay up too long--the midwife says it is due to the way I am carrying the baby because as soon as I lie down my pressure is beautiful. We are using a midwife for the first time and will be delivering at a birthing center instead of a hospital. We are getting a lot of flack from our families this time because we never find out if we are having a boy or girl and apparently is driving them mad!
I have been covering since October of last year and changed to modest dresses at that time as well. Lorien has been covering since December of last year and she was thrilled to switch to dresses and no pants. My family still doesn't understand our choices and sometimes their comments hurt, but we have seen many changes in our own lives that remind us we are doing the right things. I am working towards homeschooling Lorien, but for now she goes to a fairly small private Christian school run by a reformed Baptist church.
Due to pregnancy brain I can't remember if there was anything else I wanted or was supposed to share!
Sorry it's so long and so overdue!
