I came across this statement while reading, did not see an author so I can't give credit...anyway I thought it was interesting, I am so guilty of this...I have so many proverbial frog floating around me that I become one myself...
"The 21st Century Church is like the proverbial frog in a slowly heated pot of water. The frog enjoys the water and grows accustomed to the environment until he succumbs. Most Christians do not realize that the influences of the world are killing them Spiritually (worldly music, TV, sports, entertainment, ad nauseam). this says nothing of the fact that half of that which "pastors" are teaching is false doctrine. The vast majority of Christians are so deceived they don't even suspect that anything is wrong". Sister Debbie

I saw a quote similar to this yesterday talking about churches that are using the "purpose driven" philosophy. It's taken over before you know it.
The sad part is that if you are resistant to it, or take an active stand against it, you'll be labeled a troublemaker and probably asked to leave in many churches.
