I would very much apreciate your prayers as I am about to go in to the hospital for more surgery. I found out today the reason I have been feeling so poorly lately is that I have another tumor. It is the same kind of cancer as before. In answer to prayer this one is not attached to anything so they won't have to go in and cut into my intestines again. I have been praying that we find out what this in and be able to go in and take it out. The results of the PET scans I had yesterday confirm that it is cancer. I will be going in to the hospital any time. I am waiting for a call from my oncologist right now.
I covet your prayers.
In Christ, George

Well, as doctor's go they have dampened my enthousiasm somewhat. I was all ready to go to the hospital yesterday to get this thing removed. I cannot even get in for a consultation with the surgeon until December 19th! Prayerfully I shall be able to have the surgery very quickly after that, like the next day.
I am so relieved to find out what this is and that we can remove it without a whole lot of problems. It was an answer to prayer. My mind (read flesh) is greatly relieved.
If nothing else this whole experience has caused my relationship with and reliance on The Lord to grow. When I discovered that being tired of all of this was all about me and not about Him it really opened my eyes. It is not supposed to be about me and how I feel. It is supposed to be about Him and how He wants me to feel. Believe me, if God were tired of me feeling the way I do He would have done something about it by now.
I may have to be in the hospital over Christmas but if so it will be by my choice. I am really eager to get this tumor out so perhaps I can start feeling better and maybe, God willing, to be able to stop taking the medication I have been taking for the last four years.
God has blessed me greatly and will be glorified through all of this.
In Christ, George
