I learned this morning that my surgery will be this Thursday morning. I have to report to the hospital at 0600.
The surgeon said that if things go the way he expects it should only take an hour or so and I may be out of the hospital in a couple of days. However there is a caveat. He said there is a chance the tumor is attached to my bladder. He has a urologist working as assistant on the surgery.
Praise God for answers to unasked prayers. Although I have a very rare form of cancer the doctor who is doing the surgery is very familiar with it. When I asked him questions that only a person knowledgeable about GIST cancer would know the answers to, he had all the right answers.
I covet your prayers.
In Christ, George

Praying for you Bro. George. Would you mind if I put you on the prayer chain at our Church?

Dearest George,
We are lifting you up in prayer, were trusting you into the good hands of the Lord.
I look forward to hearing from you, may the Lord strengthen you and heal you completely, and may your tumor not be attached to your bladder, and may it not be cancerous. Amen.
We love you dearly Bro. George.
Love your sister, ~ Darlene ~
