Most of the independent, fundamental, Bible-believing KJV Baptist churches are full of compromise and apostasy.
Where is the church that holds its families together instead of constantly fragmenting them in age-peer classes and youth groups? If fathers and mothers were doing what they are supposed to do, there would not be a need for youth groups and youth rallies. Youth groups and age-segregated Sunday School are not even Biblical. God has commanded parents to teach, train, and disciple their children. We do not have permission from God to delegate that responsibility. Parents should strive to keep their children's hearts to disciple them, train them, guard them, teach them, and slowly release them out into the world after they have grown mighty in spirit.
Where is the church that is full of anointed youth who absolutely love the Lord Jesus Christ and everybody knows it because there has been an exciting, zealous living for Him in the home behind closed doors by fathers and mothers?
Where is the church that is not full of sensually-dressed females (and males) who look like they are trying to blend in with the world around us? It seems as though almost everybody has the spirit of a harlot these days.
Where is the church that is not full of men and boys who play computer/video games, watch sports, chase after hot rods, and talk about the movies they just watched?
Where is the church that is full of keepers at home?
Where is the church that is full of men who take their family out soulwinning?
Where is the church that is full of men and women who believe that they should not use man's methods to limit family size and believe God will provide for all the children He gives? Most of the professing "Christians" that I know limit their family size.
Where is the church that is not promoting the "tolerance" issue? God has commanded us to separate, not tolerate! 2 Corinthians 6:17 does NOT say, "Mingle with them, and be ye tolerant, saith the Lord, and touch the unclean thing; and I will receive you." We should, with Godly wisdom, discern all things.
Where is the church who is full of folks who really are bringing Biblical living right down into their daily lives?
Where is the church whose members really practice the simple things, like "it is a glory for women to have 'long' hair" and "we should not seek outward adornment (vanities & decorations)", and true modesty is demonstrated in the clothing of its members? Deep down in our hearts, don't we all really understand what modesty and long hair are?
Where is the church whose members have tossed out their hellevisions, videos, Disney paraphernalia, silly cartoons, Scooby Doo shows, Barbie dolls, foolish Veggie Tales, etc., etc., etc.? If Jesus is our example (the professing crowd would say that He is), we should have our children less foolish- and play-minded by the age of 12, and they should be able to handle real life with much more maturity and Christian discernment than lost folks do. The Bible says in Proverbs 24:9 that even the thought of foolishness is sin.
Even most pastors' children are raised in such foolishness, the churches' youth are sensually dressed, the ladies stand around and talk about their barbecue sauce and how nice someone looks in their skirt that is slit up the front, and the men stand around and talk about the football and basketball games they have watched and are going to watch. The men have Super Bowl
parties and the women get together to make egg and bunny decorations for their homes for Easter.
These things are true. None of the above is a stretch. I have been to several IFB KJV churches. It is not only sad, but distressing. I am not perfect (1 Tim. 1:15). But, still, I want to do something different - Biblical; not following after the world's
philosophies and programs; not blending in with the pagan culture; not riding on the coattails of the world; always a few steps behind the world, but, nevertheless, following in its footsteps.
It doesn't seem right that children get candy and necklaces at church. It doesn't seem right that children in the church excitedly show each other their Pokemon trading cards. It doesn't seem right that young men spend Sunday after Sunday talking with each other about their Star Wars video games that they play. It doesn't seem right that so many children in most churches today are wearing Shrek watches, Spiderman shoes, Power Rangers underwear, and Barbie brand dresses. It doesn't seem right that little girls are wearing lip gloss and young ladies are putting on glittery eye makeup and strappy sandals with high heels. It doesn't seem right that so many "Christians" seem to live like all of our lost neighbors do.
I am not in the judging business and fully realize that everybody can choose to live as they please. There is just a "higher ground" I long to seek after.
Christians should be teaching their children by word and example that the typical American-Christianity type of life is sin, and the genuine Christian life is exciting and worth it all; that it is more joyous to dress in modest apparel than it is to dress in worldly apparel; that singing truly godly songs is more wonderful than any other kind; that concern for lost souls all around them is more deserving of their time than shopping at Old Navy and going to amusement parks; that hanging around with the church kids at the mall on Sunday afternoon will not grow them
spiritually; that building life skills and strong work ethics will prepare them for life in a real world better than spending eighteen plus years playing Nintendo and watching Spiderman and the Three Stooges.
Christians should understand these things, long to practice more and more separation from the world, and strive to grow a consecrated, separated, sanctified, righteous, anointed, and
united family. I suppose the 'real' Christians do understand.
God's unfathomable blessings to each of you.
