I have heard several times during sermons that there are places in the scripture where a question is asked with a built in answer. Somthing about the way the question is constructed in the Greek text that provides the answer, I think Is there a term for this and what are the scriptures in which we can find this type of grammatical structure? Thanks! Robin

Robin, It doesn't look like you have had too many takers on this, and i'm not real sure what the term is myself. So i will check my Greek grammer books to see if i can find anything, and if not i will contact someone else who will know. I'm kind of curious about it myself now.

Dearest Robin, Bro. Ben and I must have not seen this post. Sorry we missed your question. This is called a rhetorical question. Here is an example... Exo 15:11 Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? The obvious and understood answer is no one. I hope that was helpful. Have a great day sister! ~ Darlene ~
