Does someone have a good link explaining what this movie is about? I'm usually pretty up-to-date on current events but this one has confused me. I know it is not good but what in the world is the premise? I thought is was set in Biblical times then I find out it is set in the present? What does this have to do with DaVinci anyway? I did hear the lead actor respond to a question of "do you think that there should be a disclaimer saying this is a work of fiction?" and he responded "the Bible should have a disclaimer saying IT is a work of fiction" The whole thing is horrid. The moronic premise of this "fiction" is that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and had children. It, being a fiction, is based on the "real" (fiction) last supper painting in which Mary Magdalene is seated (but she really isn't) next to the Lord. So, to carry the fiction film to the present, it is concluded that a descendant of Jesus is here today. Oh by the way, did I mention this film was a fiction?
Though I just hate movies that defame the Lord, like the Passion movie, it is what the wicked do. They are not the friend of God or the Christian. When the wicked ask what we think about the DaVinci Code, we should look at them with pity and say, "Sorry I don't partake of fiction."
Mat 13:49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

Thanks! ;D I haven't seen a movie in sooooooo long. Maybe 15 years? I don't read fiction either. Whatever time I have-I like to read something where I can learn. I just don't like to see the Name of God twisted. It also confuses people who are probably already confused to begin with. These are such evil times... Alice

You know,
All through history people have been coming up with theories to defame Christ, Christianity, and God. I thought about dong some research and finding a few examples, but, I decided not to because so many have existed, and where are they now? This theory in "Da Vinci code" is not new. It has been around for centuries, and most nobody has known about it. In a hundred years, (if the Lord tarries) most no one will remember it any more. Gods word stands the test of time, Praise God!
The blessings of the Lord be apon you all, Benjamin.
