Please pray for my family- this has been a hard time for us all. My Mother in law's name is Brenda. My husband (Scott) has me to do the "up close and personal" stuff (like laundry and cooking and spending the nights) because he's just not the kind of man who does well in these situations, but he loves his mother and therefore sends me and our daughters in his stead. I wouldn't have it any other way. She has been like a Mother to me since I met her- even when my husband and I were only friends. We are much closer I think than most mother and daughter in laws are. 4 years ago, she had breast cancer. They are unsure if the lung cancer was the breast cancer or if it is something completely new. Either way, your prayers would be appreciated. She is a believer, and wants the Lord to get the glory out of what is happening to her. She's so brave- I don't know if I was in her situation I would be so ready to face death like she is. I am a believer too, but still...just please pray for my husband, Scott, his brother Shawn and his sister, Wendy. They are all married and Wendy has two young sons- ages 8 and 5. The boys are having a hard time with all of this. My daughters, Jasmine and Miriam also are having a hard time with it, but since she is with us and my girls are older (12 and almost 10), I think they are handling it better. They know Nana loves the Lord and they know that if He calls her home, where she will be. Thanks for your prayers!
