As we reflect on the happening on this day 4 years ago what are our thoughts as Christians? As terrible as it was can we forgive those that did this? Can we pray and show love to them or do we desire to avenge this wrong. My belief as a Christian is to love my enemy, pray for him, to show him the same love God has shown to us. We are to have a spirit of nonresistant and allow God to have revenge on the evil doer. It was brought out in the sermon today that in the garden when Jesus was betrayed and that one of the 12 cut the ear off of the guard, shownig force and fighting back, that Jesus said that this was wrong rebuking the disciple, and healing the ear back onto the guard. Matt. 26:51-52
In our every day life how do we react when we are wronged? Do we do as the world and go to law or do we rely on God to control the situation and even at time allow our selves to suffer the wrong. To me this is one area that is so important that we be consistent in.We never know who is watching us and what affect it may have on their lives.
I trust this may be some food for thought as we try and live a real Christian life, and follow the teachings of Jesus.

Bro. Randy, I don't think everyone is at the same place in the area of nonresistence, but the thrust of Christ's command is still the same, "Love thy enemies." This is contrary to our flesh. It is easy to become frustrated and angry because it was such an afront to our security and national pride, but I believe it can be used by God to cause us to ponder the two kingdoms and which one is "really" the most important to God, namely, the kingdom of Heaven. May we remember to pray for those who lost loved ones on this day, four years ago, and to pray for the families of those who have, and are currently losing their lives on foreign soil becasue the calous actions of international terrorists.

Our 13 year old daughter Bonnie said christians should make a point every 9/11 to witness to Muslims, You can order Musalim tracts from the Fellowship tract league. Of course we should always witness to everyone we come in contact with, but it sounds like a great idea for all christians who witness for Jesus to make this day (9/11) a special day to witness to Muslims.
