Hello my name is Lisa I have been reading on this site for quite awhile and have enjoyed it. For a little about myself. I live with my family ( dad mom two sisters) We attend a IFB church about 45 minutes from home. We are thankful for a church that preaches the word of God especially since we know so many are struggling to find a good church. We started covering about one and a half years ago. Most of my family are animal lovers. Which explains why we have 7 dogs, 2 birds, two bee hives (which are not exactly pets one cat and several fish. We also have a large garden and do a lot of canning which is something I really enjoy. I am currently apprenticing with a midwife and also taking home correspondence courses to become a master herbalist. Probably the most important thing I want everyone to know about me is that I was born again in May of 2000. I am so thankful that God sent His only begotten son that whosoever will can be saved. Praise God for His marvelous and undeserved grace! Blessings to all Lisa

Dear sister Lisa,
We are so glad to have you here with us! I hope you will be blessed by what you read and enjoy your time here.
It truly is a blessing to have a good church, and be able to fellowship with brethren. We miss the fellowship.
We just started our church here in Middle Tn and it's slow going.
But we encourage ourselves in the Lord, that the Lord builds His church not us....we patiently wait.
Would you mind sharing your course information with me, I'd love to take that Herb course, so far I'm self taught, but there is so much more I need to know. I like midwifery too.

Sister Kathy Thank you for the kind words:) Hello Sister Darlene, I will be praying for you that the Lord would grow your church. We home churched for over a year and I know it can get pretty lonely at times. As to the here is the link www.snh.cc/I have really enjoyed it. They teach you how to treat the case of the problem and not just the symptoms. To take the Master Herbalist program takes approximately 18 months to 3 years. They have a payment program that allows pretty much anyone afford it. You can also apply for a scholarship if you want. I like the fact that it does not consume a lot of your time. If you had any more questions I would be Happy to answer them. God bless you Lisa

Nice to "meet" you, Lisa! Sounds like you have a neat family. Now is a great time for you to be pursuing your interest in herbs and midwifery - a great combination, I say. I'm so glad to hear that you know the Lord, and that your family attends a good, Bible-preaching church! Welcome to the board! Blessings~ Sis. Tammy
