QUESTION???
Where in the scriptures does it say that a nation is cursed when a woman rules?
If so, does that mean that the United States is cursed if Mrs. Clinton becomes president?
I need scripture verses to back this statement up
Thanks
Love Sis Debbie

Sister, 780,000 more women vote than men. There are hundreds of senators and congressmen that are women.
Isaiah 3:12-13 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.
We're there already. It's really quite scary, but when you look at all that's happening in our nation, it really is God's curse on this nation.
Love in Christ,
Sarah

I heard a conservative radio talkshow host, ladies hold your hat on, and he said, America was better off when women were NOT allowed to vote. He said that women are more emotional that men and they tend to vote on heart issues and that leads the government into programs and actions that are not fiscally best for the nation. Men, on the other hand, are more analytical and they tend to do that which is better practically. I tend to agree.

Bro. Ben, I too think that the way America has it now is wrong. Looking at the way Americans used to vote, it really was a man being a shepherd over his family, voting as a unit. I think it's a travesty when our culture has become so individualistic that the concept of voting for one's family seems foriegn, oppressive.
I still to this day gladly seek my father's advice when I vote. I know that I could never vote in peace voting against my Daddy.
Love in Christ,
Sarah

The once great State of California has a triple whammy. We have Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer AND Diane Feinstein. It don't come much worse than that! But....if the country survived Bill Clinton we can survive them.

It may have been better when women didn´t vote, but since we can, I do... But I´m only doubling my husband´s vote, because we vote the same! Sis Tammy

I definately vote but like you Sister Tammy I vote as my husband votes. We discussed it beforehand then we went together. As silly as it may sound that is one of my fave memories of us..going together to vote. It brought us closer being in agreeance together like that and taking action together.

Dear Debbie,
Here are the verses I found note verse 12...I hope that was helpful.
Christians feel it its their duty to vote, so they do. It's easier than turning from their wicked ways and honoring God with their lives. Voting is a game, a gamble. Who is worth our vote anyhow? The lesser of two evils? God help us.Isa 3:1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water, Isa 3:2 The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient, Isa 3:3 The captain of fifty, and the honorable man, and the counselor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.
Isa 3:4 And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. Isa 3:5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbor: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honorable. Isa 3:6 When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand: Isa 3:7 In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people. Isa 3:8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory. Isa 3:9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. Isa 3:10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Isa 3:11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.
Isa 3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
Isa 3:13 The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people. Isa 3:14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses. Isa 3:15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
These verses are very interesting! 16-24 Another topic another time
Isa 3:16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: Isa 3:17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts. Isa 3:18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon, Isa 3:19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers, Isa 3:20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings, Isa 3:21 The rings, and nose jewels, Isa 3:22 The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins, Isa 3:23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails. Isa 3:24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.
Isa 3:25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.
Isa 3:26 And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground. I agree with what the radio host said on Bro. Bens post. 2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

I understand about women not being in the position of leaders and rulers..but I am confused about the voting. Is it biblically unsound for a woman to vote? I read those verses but I didn't see anything that said that, admittedly I may have overlooked it or may just not be able to understand it
