We had such a full day on Sunday. We had a family in for fellowship on Sunday morning. We had met this brother at Home Depot. He saw us there a time or two (our home away from home,) and the last time we were there helped us load up a big purchase. He began asking questions about what we believe and where we church. When we told him, at home, he asked if he and his family could come. We were quite thrilled! We told him yes, and they did. It was a great time of fellowship. He (of course) brought along his wife, and three children. He had the cutest little boy named, Nicodemus.
Darlene's long time friend from back in Texas (who now lives in Iowa,) is also down and it has been a blessing. Her and Darlene are like the Bobsie Twins, they have been having a nice time.
We went to a monthly bee meeting on Sunday afternoon at 2:45 P.M. (we were supposed to be there at 2, but we stayed until our company had to leave.) We do not like that they meet on Sunday, but then again, the guys who run it are pretty much heathen. We have found another bee association not too far away and we are going to check them out and their meeting is on Thursday nights.
We had friends from a black bumper Mennonite church come over Sunday night about 5:45 P.M. Marvin called Saturday afternoon and told us that he had a huge meal left over from a fellowship and wanted to come and visit AND bring the meal. What kind of deal is that? They would have been welcome either way, they are sweet friends. We are friends with the pastor and this was his grown son, his wife, and three of his younger sisters that are Amie and Bonnie's age. The big girls had a wonderful time, we did too.
Whew! What a day! We were all plumb tuckered, but blessed.
