We had terrible storms last night worse than we have seen in a while. There were 15 deaths in West Tennessee last night as a result of tornadoes and stright line winds. There were reports of grapefruit size hail in some places. We were woke up around 12 A.M. and stayed up until about 12:50 because of the racket that the storm made on our metal roof. I openned the door to see what was going on and one of my dogs came in cowering like a scared puppy. It was very intense. However, by the grace of God, we suffered no damage I know of at this time. Let's keep those families in the Midwest (including Missoure, Illinois, Arkansas, and Tennessee,) who were killed last night. Bro. Ben Pics at Fox News www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,190295,00.html

Brother Ben, my prayers are with you and all of the people in that area. We have been fortunate here so far. We have had a LOT of rain. It is supposed to continue for two more days.Tonight and tomorrow they are predicting thunderstorms (very unusual for our area) and hail. I pray this next storm is not as bad as predicted. If it is then we will have flash flooding in Southern California. Especially in the areas which have recently burned.
In Christ, George

Brother Ben, We are praying for you and your family for safety. Brother George, I'm agreement with you in prayer. Everytime we get bad rain like this, I think of La Conchita and the terrible mudslide from last year. I'm praying that hill holds up.

Brother Ben and Sister Darlene, how did you fare last night? I noticed from the National Weather Service there were still supposed to be some storms in your area. I pray all is well with you and the others in your area.
In Christ, George

We did not have any bad weather here last night, not even rain. Safe and sound! Just waiting for it to dry up so we can plant our garden.

We also had very bad weather Sunday night. We were without electricity for almost 3 hours. It started at around 11:30 pm Sunday night .. it was hailing.. there was a great deal of damage but thankfully we didn't experience any. We just about went down to the basement to wait it out, but right as we started down with our candles everything stopped.
My friend that lives around 20 minutes from me and they are almost certain a tornado touched down through her neighbors backyard. It's been pretty messy. And we are supposed to have more in the next day or two.

Believe it or not here in California we've had some small tornadoes and waterspouts. I've never experienced either and I hope I never do. I wouldn't even know what to do in the event of a tornado to be honest. We were under a severe thunderstorm watch earlier today but it probably will be reissued for tonight. I remember a time last year when a severe thunderstorm was detected by the National Weather Service near downtown Los Angeles and rotation was also detected but the tornado apparently didn't touch down. It's a scary thing. I'm praying for all those affected by the recent tornadoes.

My grand mother said it is supposed to be a bad year for storms.
I believe we are living in the end times. Come quickly Lord Jesus!
The storm we had the other night was truly scary! Those were some bad storms that swept across. One on line News report said an 11 month baby was sucked out of it's home and found down the street dead. That is so sad. I couldn't imagine loosing a child like that. That poor family. May the Lord comfort their soul. Alot of people lost their life in those storms. May the Lord comfort all involved and work in their lives. amen.
May the Lord protect us from this present evil world and it's storms ( earth disturbances) These things must come to pass. The earth groans for the coming of Christ. It will only get worse before His return. That's why we must turn our hearts toward Jesus and try our best to live our lives for Him and for His Glory. We need to know how to walk with the Lord and how to pray down heaven, the time is coming when everyone will truly ''need'' the Lord. Will we know how to pray and get ahold of the Lord? I want to stay close to the Lord all the days of my life and be used of Him as He sees fit. May our heart's yearn for a close relationship with our Saviour The Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus is coming soon...Let's prepare for His coming.
Love, ~ sister Darlene ~
