I saw this somewhere and liked it so I thought I'd post it. This is the kind of Baptist we should be.
Bible- only rule for faith & practice; hictorically only used the TR & KJV. Autonomus local church- the N.T. churches independence from denomanations. Christ only Head & Founder. Priesthood of the believer. I only pray to Christ and never through a man. The eternal security of the truely born again believer- Saved by Grace & kept by Grace. Immersion of the believer only- that only the saved are to be baptized, also known as believer's baptism. Sole liberty of the believer. The seperation of church & state- to worship freely and to choose to live for Christ not forced. The regenerated local church membership. Only true believer's can be considered for local assembly membership. No infant baptism for salvation.
It's not perfect, but I thought it was very close!

Brother Ben, we really liked this! Hope you don't mind but we'd like to use it in our Sunday bulletin! Please tell Sister Darlene hello for me, and give that sweet baby a little cuddle from me too! Hope all is well with the family. Blessings and prayers, Sister Pamela

Really great post. my dh and i were discussing what is meant to be a baptist just this week. I also like what you wrote on another post about a germ of God being in a church. We have been IFB but left our church because it turned into something sad.
