Dear Prayerful Brothers and Sisters, I do ask on behalf of my Mother in Law and my best friend's father for prayers, my Mom in law is in the last stages of her rectal cancer and she is currently in a nursing home and she will meet the Lord very soon, my best friend of 40 plus years' father, is also now in a nursing home and has just given up, he's been a sweet soul and doesn't want to burden his wife any longer and he is not expected to survive much more either.....
My Mom in law is Lucille and his name is Don...
We are going to see Don on Saturday to say our God bless you and see you in Heaven in our own way..he is not able to communicate or has understanding of who anyone is now....Mom in law just smiles and won't talk any longer most of the time...she is not eating either.
My heart is heavy to lose 2 special people in my life and I do ask for prayers for their families.
Love and Lord bless you friends, many thanks Sister Penny

Dear sister Penny,
Good to see you friend! Big hug and kiss on the cheek. I've missed you. My girls ask about you from time to time.
I will pray for these two precious souls and for those who love them especially. I know it hurts to see them go.
Blessings, grace and peace be with you all.
Love and prayers, ~ sister Darlene ~

Thank you all for your prayers for "Pop"...his passing was very peaceful and he went with his family around him, he was a born again Christian so I am positive the Lord and others have welcomed him home...I will miss Pop...
My Mom in law is slowly getting worse, we went to see her 2 days ago and she had just fallen again, I am not sure if she broke anything, but in the old days when I was in nursing, we used soft restraints to avoid this, however, someone determined that restraints are "abusive" and it is illegal to use them in any form...she's fallen 3 times at the facility, I am questioning her safety, after so many years working in geriatric nursing, however, she has a daughter who is an RN and I am just an in law...please keep Lucille in your prayers for safety as well..
God bless you all!!!
I am battling a bad flare up of my Fibromyalgia and bronchitis...my poor husband has a nasty case of the flu and I am here 115 miles south of him working in Kalamazoo again..I will leave either late Wednesday or early Thursday to head on home for the Resurrection Holiday.
Love to you all.. Sister Penny

My Mother in law was rushed to the ER on Sunday, we quickly drove there as she was having profuse bleeding, I thank the Lord I have medical training and remembered all my sister in law had discussed about her condition as no one else was there to assist.
The bleeding did subside but the ER physician has stated the same comments 2 other cancer specialists have said...there is no therapeutic treatment that will help save her and to keep her comfortable, painless and allow her to die basically.
I don't understand why the doctors gave the family false hope after her breast cancer, resulting in the removal of her breast, it was all for naught and just a way to increase the insurance payments it seems.
She is 82 and failing quickly, however, her good days are such a blessing and she is always smiling when we visit her.
Thank you for letting me "vent" a little, it is just difficult to watch another loved one suffer, and she was truly suffering when she was rushed to ER, thankfully the physician there administered a fast acting narcotic to stop the pain....
God bless and thank you. Sister Penny
