My husband was promised a very good job two years ago and it never came through. Now the job is on the table again. We really need this. We have been living on kindness for two years. Praise the Lord for always providing but it would be nice to stand on our own two feet again. Right now we are not able to pay our house payment and my husband can't afford his meds. We are cutting out anything we can. If anyone is moved to pray for my husband's employment situation I would be so thankful.
The second one is kind of silly. We live in Florida. Our van's air conditioning died last year. My husband has a 45 minute drive to work and back each day. It is hard for me to go buy groceries because things melt or spoil so fast on the ride home. We found a very promising church but it is an hour away. We need a major overhaul on our van's cooling system but can't afford it. It seems silly to ask but driving to work and church would be so much more pleasant if we were not risking heat stroke LOL My daughter is really sensitive to heat (I am too but she is worse) and it will be bad if we have to be hermits all summer again.
Thanks!

Praying!
I understand about the heating system. Only two vents give out heat in our van and that's not fun in -25F lol!
Also my Mom and I have a heat allergy as well, sorry for that. We both get asthma attacks if we overheat. When fall comes we breathe a sigh of relief.

Dear sister welcome to our site! What was your user name when you were on this site before?
I will be praying for the Lord to provide, it is extremely humbling to have to be on the receiving end, especially for two years. I know the Lord has taught you many good lessons over these past two years. I'm like you I'd rather be the giver, but there is a blessing in the thought that when we receive we are allowing the other person the blessing of giving. My pride tries to get in the way, I do not want to be a burden, or for people to think ill of me. The Lord is doing a work in both the giver and receivers heart though.
Love your sister and friend, ~ sister Darlene ~
Have a great day sister!Psa 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psa 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. The Lord is so faithful to provide.

Thank you for your prayers. I think I was FloridaMom when I was registered before. I think I was registered twice before but I forget about the boards and get cleansed from the system. I mostly lurk and read.
