We do not have a TV and our Internet is Dial up (slow) so I do not get the news on line either.
I wanted to know what was happening in the world, once he found a discarded ''Wall Street Journal'' at the post office, I found that absolutely fascinating, but did not want to spend the money to get it on a regular basis. Then he found a free little paper called ''World News & Prophecy (biblical perspective on current events)'' It's put out by the Church Of God. I really enjoy the articles in this free publication, I find it very helpful. I thought I would share my jewel.
Things are in a state of confusion in the world these days. We just have to cast it all on the Lord, for He careth for us. The Middle East is a tinderbox. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. (I know Israel must surely be wondering what is up with this upcoming "treaty" that Obama & Kerry have foisted upon us. It is just plain madness to seemingly behave so naively where Iran is concerned.)
Oh well. Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding - that's good Scriptural advice!
John and I are doing pretty well; thankful to be doing as well physically as we are. - We have been attending First Baptist Church in Lewisburg for the past several years. The pastor has been there a long time and does a good job sticking to the Bible in his sermons. - Hope you all are well. (I think you all had another baby after we first met you; but that "baby" is probably pretty much a grownup girl by now!
God bless you all! Glad you've continued the website.
