Hello Sisters through Christ. My name is Renee,I have been happily married since 1989 to my DH Jeff. We were blessed with one son whom is 15,his name is Jacob I have homeschooled him since he was 4 years old,and blessed to be doing so. I am not new to modest dressing but I am new to covering ,I have been covering more, and more. I am the only one in my church who covers, and I really do not know anyone who covers. I had a calling to start covering about a month ago but as I stated I have been covering more ,and even just made me a cover. It it nothing fancy, kinda plain. I use bandanas mostly. so I hope no one minds me asking questions Blessings,Renee

Welcome. To the board. You will find we all learn something from somewhere and I don't think anyone will mind you asking questions. When I started covering I was the only one in my church that covered also. We practiced modesty and it was preached on but they did not take to me covering. I also gradually covered more. I actually like bandannas but I have fine hair and they fall off. Great to have you on the board. I home schooled some but not at first. I think its good you homeschool.

Dear sister Renee,
Nice to meet you. I guess you left the board before I could say hello. I was not feeling well last week so I did not get on. Sorry I missed you.
We started homeschooling when our oldest child Benjamin, now age 25 was 4 also. We used ABeka back when it wasn't home school friendly, it was geared toward a class room setting. Ben spent many long hours preparing lessons and teaching our son, who learned how to read Encyclopedias at age 6. We were so proud of his progress at such a young age. We do not start that young anymore because we have a house full of children to teach now.
I will keep you in prayer as you seek the Lord about head covering.
Love, ~ sister Darlene ~
