Yes, it is me!! the one who could not join but at long last i have managed to become a member, PTL, and join the site and i am so delighted to become 'family' . All well worth the wait and a good lesson in patient prayer! fun to see there is another new member with a similar name....my name has 2 L's as in Allene, i am from Scotland originally and my name is unusual there these days, there is a loch Aline on the west coast though (yes, i am named after a large expanse of water!) it is more common still in France. This is due to old Scots, as in the historical 'auld alliance'. Anyway, i am here to introduce myself....i am a mother of 3, 47 years of age, (one has gone on ahead to the Lord as a baby) My daughter is 16 and my son 10. We live in China, have been overseas due to my husbands work for 15 years. I was brought up in Church of Scotland, but was not saved until September 3rd 2002, and then my life really began! I love the Lord, i take evangelism very seriously and a no compromising stance was given to me the instant i was saved. I want to find out what He wants me to do and in my short walk I have discovered this is very often at odds with what 'mainstream Christianity' would have me understand and follow. I just keep going back to the Word. It has taught and drawn me more and more to a more conservative walk, on my own mainly as time has passed and it was lonely for the first year as i took a stance but then, God provided. As soon as i stood, He was there with me and provided fellowship...even here in China!! of a seriously dedicated to the Lord kind!! better not write more now but thank you for this site, it played such a supportive role as i took some lonely decisions last year and now i can fellowship with you all i am delighted.
Praise God for your work here, your faithfulness, patience and your kindness as you preach the Word of God and support those who endeavor to Honor Him.

All I can think is that there may some internet limitations when transitioning from the China internet, very closely watched from what I understand, to American internet.
