Hello, I want to first say I do hope everyone had a joyful Thanksgiving...
I attend an IFB church and so far I am the only one that covers, it generally has been accepted although some have given me odd looks and a few comments. Last Sunday after the morning service someone said something very nasty to me about it (very disrespectful), it was a young man about half my age. His mother got onto him about it and made some comment that he should have learned about that from a Jew class in college (I am sometimes slow to catch on, I believe she was assuming it was something I was just trying from the class [my husband and I are in the same Bible college as him]) Anyway, I was upset about it. There were even thoughts of not covering, but my husband assured me it was right and that I should do right regardless. That night when I got to church there was one of our missionaries that we support with his wife and daughter both covered. It was God's timing that it happened. I needed help and prayed and no one even knew they would be there, it was a surprise pop in visit. He is respected in our church and it was an answer to prayer. I spoke to them after church and it was a happy time. The missionary was Jewish, but they cover in accordance with 1 Corinthians 11.

That sounds like just the encouragement you needed. No matter how many times I see it, or read about it happening to others it is always so amazing how God provides just what we need, when we need it.

What a sweet affirmation from the Lord! I would like to know who that missionary family is.

The Freid family, Brother Freid is the director (and born again Jew) for H.I.B.M Hope of Israel Baptist Mission. My husband and I had the pleasure of being at Jew day when they set up one of their booths once, but the wife and daughter were not there. Sis. Kriste
