I was raised in a Christian Non Denominational church as a child up until about 13-14 years old. I accepted Jesus at about 9 or 10 years old. I was always back and forth with my faith. I finally hit the skids at age 15-ish. I back slid ridiculously. Fast forward to about the early 2000s me and my wife were about to get separated. She indicated she wanted to raise her future children in a "religion". I knew that we needed to get into a church. We got back together and found a "good" non denominational and went. I didn't actually re affirm my faith in Christ until much later down the road in yet another Non Denominational.I was really un-repentant and of course I wasn't assured of Gods presence either. I pleaded with God to take my heart back. I firmly believe He did. I repented of smoking, pornography, using curse words and most secular music. As a result God keeps re working the clay. We got away from the Non Denom and were re baptized in an IFB. Today we live a much simpler life. We have no TV, I am working on resuming headship, I got rid of almost all of the secular music (I still stumble with Elvis) and there are no more "bodice ripper" or Stephen King novels here. I believe our focus should be on God and giving Him all the glory with every breath we breathe. Our faith in God is firm. We are growing in Gods all sufficient grace and mercy. Praise God He will Deliver. Please God, I beg, continue to re work the clay.

Thank you for your testimony, it makes a complete difference in a household when the head of that household lives for Christ.

Thank you for your testimony, it makes a complete difference in a household when the head of that household lives for Christ. I appreciate the compliment Kscarle. I'm trying as earnestly as I can to serve God faithfully, without question, submissively and joyfully. I enjoy it I really do (who could even say otherwise?). Although I will say the learning curve is pretty steep! ;D
