Dear Brethren, Please be in prayer for our family we are begining to build our house. We are very excited. We've waited 20 years and now have 8 children. The Lord is so good to bless His children. Please pray our house can be built soon and finished by Thanksgiving. Thats our goal. Please pray it will be built well and that building supplies won't go up and that we will have many willing hands to cheerfully help us build our home. We've been married 20 years and have always rented and stayed debt free and freed up to serve the Lord, now Bens health is broken and mine too, and we are ready and feel the go ahead and Blessing from the Lord to settle down in one place and build. We will keep you updated. Thank you for your prayers there much needed and apreciated. Greatfully, ~ sister Darlene ~

Dear Bro and Sister I do pray that the building of your house will go well. Being in the building business I know full the things that go into building or remodeling a house. We have been remodeling and adding on to our house for a couple of years now. Lord willing I will be able to finish it soon. My problem has always been when I have the time no money and when got the extra money to busy working to work on our house. May the Lord give you good weather Sat. to get done what you need. Now if we where closer I would just pop over and give you a hand on building it. Lord bless you both and you live and server our Lord. Bro. Randy

Thank you for your prayers and support sister Glenda, and Bro.Randy. We got it all bush hoged. It looks great. How encouraging to our family. The christian brother of ours drove two hours and did most of the bush hogging with his nice John Deer Tractor and then would not except any gas money. Now thats a real christian and his name happens to be Christian. Isn't that neat. We spoke to our Ind. Baptist brother who is going to do the foundation work and georage, he's meeting Ben at the property this week, Please pray all goes well and the Lord blesses there. We are setting a goal to be all moved in by this Thanksgiving. Please continue to pray for us. Your sister, ~ Darlene ~

I will remember you all during this time of building. I do remember how the building time was, when we were going through a time of building not too long ago. I will keep you and your family in our prayers. We are excited for you all during this time.
Keep us posted on how things are going. We will enjoy hearing about it.
Love In Christ, Kim

Dear ladies, Thank you so much for your prayers. This is a very stressful time for me. We should be moved in by Thanksgiving. That is the date our builder friend has set. We break ground in two weeks. We are starting this building project by faith. Our funds are small but our God is big real Big.Here is a neat verse the Lord gave Ben about one month ago, we were listening to a preacher preach out of the book of Haggai chapter 2 when Bens eyes fell on a verse across the page and the Lord confermed to go ahead and build a house on our property, now. We had just come from visiting our land that day and was trying to decide Gods will in the matter. Here is the verse. Haggai 1:8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD. How encouraging! A friend of ours came from two hours away and met us at our property and bush hogged our land for us for free. Isn't God good. I'll keep you updated. Love your sister in Christ, ~ Darlene ~

Dearest Brethren, Thank you for your prayer support it is greatly needed and apreciated. We are so excited and a little scared. The funds are small but our God is big. Ben knows a cement owner of a large co. in Nashville he feels compelled to ask him if he would be willing to donate some or all of the cement. Please pray hard on this one, because the cement is most of our house cost. We need cement 3 times for the footer, to pour the walls, and for the slab. We are praying he will donate all three. Eaither way we are going forward by faith. We have 7,000 and our Co. is charging 1,000 for impact, construction and other fees. 6,000 doesn't go far. But with God all things are possible. Our need of a home is great and the Lord has already... provided the down payment for the land, He provided the perfect land and a good price for the land ( the land already had a septic tank, city water and electric pole and phone wire, and it is fenced well, and has a 30x32 barn with a loft in great shape, and it's all on 12 1/2 acres!) I am confident the Lord will continue to provide in this area. I forgot to say He also provided much furnishings for the house from my grandmother we have a 10x20 storage full. ( she shared what she had.) The house will be small at first but we already have expansion plans. We are going to dig the basement and footer next Sat oct 1 my Amies 12 birthday. What a date to remember! Tomarrow we will be going back to the property to yet again change where we want our house. Last week we went and staked out where we wanted our house and how big. Now we are going to make a basement plus one story on top on the back side of our hill. We wanted that from the beginning, but thought it would be too costly. We have been advised that would be a better way to go. We are very happy with the new plans. We will have a basement with a one story house on top. It will have 3 bedrooms ,1 bathroom, 1 pantry under the stairs downstairs, and a wash room/ pantry upstairs, and a parlor, living room, and kitchen. The bedrooms will be down stairs and we will heat the hole house with wood heat down stairs. We will get central heat and air before next summer hits. We are very excited! Please pray much! Thank you! May the Lord put His hand of blessing and provision upon Ben and I and our precious family for the building of our house and our relocating which will be a big undertaking. May the Lord give us peace, vision, provision, safety, and blessings, and make it easier than we think. Amen. Love in Christ, ~ sister Darlene ~

Please continue to Pray Ben is going ''today'' to pay all the fees the Co. requires to build around $1,000 . He will be turning on the water and finding out about the ele too. There is so much involved. Kind of stressful for me, but I'm resting in Jesus. The man comes to prep our footer this Saturday. And next Tuesday he will pour the footer and put on the first row of block wall. Then we'll be ready to pour the footer and build the basement. Prayer is much needed, and important, and apreciated. Your sister in Christ, ~ Darlene ~
