Dear sisters,
She is in much pain... They gave her 4 pain killers and could give her no more because of the pain and sent her home. She said the pain is awful! She sounded so tired.
I'm upset. She probably didn't really even need the surgery, but her doctor told her to so she did. Now she has to suffer through it. All she had was a non painful crooked toe. Shes old and a widow with money and he saw his opportunity. Why not straighten her 80 year old toe. Money in his pocket (not for long)... and she'll live through it. Needless.
And to top it all off her 83 year old very energetic ( still takes a group out of the states every year and takes them on week long tours to the Holy Land, Italy, Japan...etc. We'll this year after she came back her doctor put her on a anti depressant and my grandmother is worried about her because all she does is sit and lay around, sometimes never getting dressed for the day. She's never been like this before. My grandmother told her she was depressed about having another surgery and she replied ''join the crowd''. That's not like her at all, she is an energetic, bubbly, on fire for God, little Southern Baptist lady, who is always going somewhere and doing something. She amazes us all. I'm very worried about her, she's not sick and this has gone on for many months now.
Please pray for my Aunt Myra Nell.
Thank you all for the much needed prayer for my sweet grandmother and her precious sister. They truly do need your prayers right now!
Love, ~ sister Darlene ~

Sister Darlene, of course you have myprayers in both of these needs. I will pray for a miracle of healing and relief from the pain. I believe I also need to pray that God guide the doctors in all this.

My poor grandmother is having hallucinations ever since her surgery. Shes says it's as close to hell as a christian can come...She is tormented. This is what happened last time they put her under, but last time she had Morphine, they were not suppose to give her that this time, she is not sure if they did or not.
Please keep her in your prayers during the surgery her blood pressure dropped really low she said she almost died. Now she has a very week raspy voice and she has a bad cough. And shes in bad pain. Shes a sweet strong christian lady and I hate to see her suffer.
Thank you for praying for my grandma.

My dear grandma is doing much better, but a few days ago her sister talked her into going with her to her daughters. Her daughter has had a massive stroke that has left her crippled and they were going to pack her bags so her and her husband could go visit their son. My grandmother sat sideways in the van as to not stress her foot, but this short trip to help her sisters daughter has left her in a bad way, she is very exhausted and her foot hurts worse. She says she is staying put...no more day trips for her.
Please continue to pray for her she is 80 and this has been very hard for her. they cut her in 4 places and put a rod through her big toe all the way to her ankle. You know that hurt...and still does.
Note: This is not my Nana that was going to move in with us. She is my moms mom.
I called her the other day and finally explained to her that she could not move in with us, but that my mama wanted her to come to Fl. She said that she cannot stomach my mamas live in boyfriend ( they are common law because they have lived together for 23 years...it still is not right though) . She will not go there. She can't come here. We are praying about her going to live up near or with her brother in Mo. My great uncle is a preacher he is 81...and still going. He's married to a lovely woman that often calls and prays with my Nana. Her and her brother have always been close. I hope he will take her in.
This is very disturbing, and hard on me. I'd love to have her live with us, it was my hearts desire. But my children cannot live around her ungodly story's and the crazy stuff she says. If my children were grown I could handle it, but my first responsibility is to my children. Please pray about this situation.
Love your sister in Christ, ~ Darlene ~
