Dear Brethren,
I have been so busy lately no time to post.
I have read the prayer request and I will be praying...Bro Ben has kept me posted.
1. We have half our basement up. Please continue things will go smoothly and be done right, and that city codes will be available and ready to work with us (we call them they take days to call back! all we ever get is an answering machine. ) How frustrating. We should be putting the rest of the walls up Next Saturday! Then we'll have to seal and pour the walls and pour rock and dirt to fill in outside walls. Still so much to do.
2. Benjamin (19) is leaving for a wedding in WI in the morning and will be gone for 5 days...Please pray for his physical and spiritual safety, and when he returns he has a job decision to make ( the green house is slowing down )... please pray for God's guidance and wisdom for his choice. This is so important.
3. A few weeks ago they (the apt people ) found my poor grandmother collapsed with a stroke and kidney failure in her apt, she had been there for 12 days , she was in the hospital for a week then put in a rehab to learn to walk and use her arm again. Then I had alot of calls to make concerning that, not to mention helping my mom figure out what she was going to do and how to do it. It has been crazy! Mama is taking Nana to live with her in Fl. I am the only child and only grandchild...I am the backbone of our small family unit. Nana, Mama, and Me. Nana is 85 and very sick and needy, Mama is sickly too and cannot make confident, clear decisions. This was alot on her physically and mentally, not to mention emotionally and financially. Please pray for all involved.
My Dad came for an unexpected (Surprise! ) visit. We haven't seen him in a year in a half. We have lived here in Tn for over 10 years and he has never came for a visit. He lives 6 hours away...not to far.....We had a great time. Short but sweet!
We are preparing for school to start back. So much to do.
We have continued to can jam and cantaloupe and we have been sewing non stop.....
Please pray for us and know we are praying for you.
Love, ~ sister Darlene~
