Dear Preacher Ben...How do we support worshipping on Sundays? When did it change from the Sabbath to Sunday? I have read and have been taught that the disciples started to meet on the first day of the week after the death and resurrection of our Lord, but why? We live under the new convenant I know, but dosen't it say that nothing was to be added or taken away after the convenant was made by the blood of Jesus? We didn't start meeting on Sundays until after the convenant was made, so itsn't that adding to? Can you please explain...anyone can jump in on this, I am open to all explainations...just looking for answers...thanks...say hi to Darlene...Love Debbie

I do not get on much too busy. Remember me in your prayers. I love you! your sister and friend, ~ Darlene ~ Hebrews 11:6 Acts 6:4 Do you think somehow you can come to the camp meeting? I sure hope so.

Debbie, I answered a similar post on this very topic before, but I know it is a discussion we all get into if we meet enough people. The Sabbath keeper people like any varient teaching, make a good case IF they ignore and keep away for a few key scriptures. I found a site with a very good explanation and rather that try to type it all in here is a link. The brother who wrote it is a teacher at the Dallas Theological Seminary, and though I wouldn't send anyone there, you can be assured it very central to scripture and from an evangelical perspictive. ronrhodes.org/qworshipsunday.htmlLord bless you, Bro. Ben P.S. My response to this issue is in the Theology 101 area, discussion #5

Dear Bro. Ben...Thanks so much for the web links, very informative, I will use the sites and study my bible to find my answer...sorry I missed the one you posted early in Theology 101...I don't always have time to keep up with all the discussions...Thanks again...and Dear Darlene...you are a blessing to me and I feel a close connection to you, you are a wonderful example of a Godly woman...I would love to meet you and your beautiful family someday, if the Lord permits...as for the baptist camp, well its just a little to far away and the funds are just not there....but I will be thinking of you all and all the other wonderful God loving folk on this site...have a wonderful day...love Debbie
