I make sure that i do not bad talk there dad. I will never do that.. NO matter how mad I maybe with him.. I am however watching out on some issues.. There has been some issues that have came up that the kids have seen over at there dads that is not of God.. I have had to put my foot down on them being over there. Thank the lord the children are older and well they understand why they can not be over there. however there dad has a open invite to come here and see the children. Even with that he might see the kids once a week. If that. Normally the only time they see him is when i take them to see him... I worry about my children and how they are going to handle this in the future. god bless all and again thank you so much for your prayers glenda

Amen ... keeping our faith ' constant ' at all times ... yo-yo faith is not good ... whether we are walking in the sunshine or in the middle of one of the worst storms of our life, keep that faith solid and constant ...

Hello all. Today has been a real hard day. I really need your prayers.. More today than in a long while. The children have been fighting on and off all day long. Our car is having a few problems. We only had one job the whole week and and and.. I am stressed beyond measure right now. If you could lift my family up in prayer i would greatly appricate it. god bless glenda

Dear Sister Glenda, I hope it is a comfort to you here, that all these prayers are being said and you are so loved, not just by the Brothers and Sisters on this site, but by the Lord. You are never alone when you accept Christ, He is with you always. I wanted to share a little story with you...I met this lady here, here in China. She was from the states, 2 small daughters and a baby boy. They seemed to never go out much, the house was only partially furnished and when others were off on holidays exploring the region, they never went anywhere. She, S, was such a Godly woman, I learnt so much from her, her example in prayer, the way she turned to God for all things. The way she dressed and the way she parented were all an example to me, a new Christian. Her patience was extraordinary to me. After knowing her here for 3 years S shared with me she was returning home, that for 2 years her husband had a second family here in Asia...that he spent all their savings on this woman and that they she was returning to the states with nothing and he was not coming. There was to be no child support, no house, no car, nothing. At the same time her 7 year old was diagnosed with elipepsy. I thought, (newly released from wordly learning!) well you should divorce Him...but she said no. She was married to him in the eyes of God and would never divorce. She would manage, she would pray, she would stand firm on the promises of God. She returned to the states and lived with her mother....then managed to get a small rental, home schooled the 3 children, no car but lots of walking! coupon cutting and making ends meet, joined a church and kept on praying. 5 years later...long n' lonley years in regard to her marriage but strengthening years for her children and herself with the Lord, as she lived her faith and the children watched her do it. Her husband suddenly visited her and said he wanted to try again...and so they are now together again. It is not all happy families now he is back either but she continues to lean on the Lord and He continues to provide. Her husband is closer to the Lord than he has ever been....in no small part to the incredible witness of his wife. Sometimes, situations are seemingly impossible, but nothing is impossible for God. Maybe....it will be you and the way you walk these coming months, even years, that will unite your family and bring your husband home and will show your children ''faith in action''. I will pray for you too dear sister and that your burdens will be lifted, Much love in His name, Sister Allene <><

Dear Sister Glenda,
Praying for you this morning, for your needs to be met.
"As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud, and he shall hear my voice.
He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me." Psalms 55: 16 - 18
This is hard, but we are called upon to pray for our enemies as earnestly as we possibly can. May you have peace.
You know, Glenda, I've finally come to a place in my life (I'm almost 62) where I almost think that possibly if we had been given a Cinderella dream world complete with Prince Charming at his most perfect, we might just grow to love the things of the world too much. Just a thought.
My mother came from a family of eight children. They were very poor Appalachian hill country children, and there were times when they had little or nothing to eat. My grandmother would go up on the hill behind her house to pray and ask God to meet their immediate needs - and He always did. (We only have to live TODAY, one day at a time - not the whole next year, or even tomorrow - today.)
Once there was a drought in their community. Everyone's corn crop had died except for my grandmother's. The preacher in that area was at the little grocery store and asked those who were there to go with him to the church house and pray for rain. There was not a cloud in sight and hadn't been for a while; the ground was parched. My grandmother told them all that as long as she had corn, they had corn. - They began to pray and cry out to God for a little while, then they went to the front door of the church to see if the Lord had begun to answer their prayers. - A small cloud had appeared in the sky. - They went back in to pray some more - They checked the front door again, and it had begun to just barely sprinkle. - They went back to pray some more. - It began to rain harder, and harder, until it was pouring down rain - and IT RAINED FOR THREE HOURS so hard they couldn't leave the church to go home. - Coincidence? About one chance in a million, I'd say.
Remember to trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding, in all thy WAYS acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
Be strong in the LORD, and in the power of HIS (not your's, but HIS) might.
Now - let the weak say "I am strong!"
In Christian Love, Wanda

An African preacher said to me that in Africa, Malawi where he lives, they are all powerful prayer warriors and really know their Lord....because they have nothing, no one and no where else to turn, the only way is up! Praise the Lord! Sister Allene <><

Dear Sister Glenda, Way over here in China, the lord has placed you and your precious children heavily on my heart today and I wanted to tell you that I have been thinking of you all day!! I have been praying for your strength Sister, for you to know how loved you are both here on this dear board and also and that He is in control and unlike this world we live in, can be relied upon. I pray that you will recieve answers to your prayers, direction on your path and the anxiety you feel as a protector- provider- mother at this time, for your beautiful and precious God given children, will lessen and you will feel safe, loved and secure. He is your rock dear sister. Heb.13:5-6 God has said, "Never will I leave you;never will I forsake you." So we can say with confidence," The Lord is my helper;I wil not be afraid. What can man do to me?'' Ps. 118:6-7. (((()))) a warm heartfelt hug from Shanghai! Sister Allene <><
