Dear Brothers and sisters,
Please lift me up in prayer...I have a heavy heart today and yesterday.... I know this too will pass but I can only imagine how the Lord feels, how His heart aches and is grieved at the state of His people which are called by His name.
Please just pray for me. We all have to go through low spots. Please lift up my friends and loved ones at this time God knows all their needs and mine.
With a heavy heart and eyes and heart fixed on the eternal truths of God and His unfading love, ~ sister Darlene ~

Dearest Sister Darlene...I am praying for you...I found these verses to share with you ...be strong...I need you to be strong, for I am weak...I learn so much from you, don't lose heart...
"Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feeble-minded, support the weak, be patient toward all men." 1 Thess. 5:14 .......This is me Darlene, and there are many more...
"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." 2 Tim 4:2
"But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it." Rom. 8:25
"Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer." Rom. 12:12
"Rejoice, and be exceeding glad for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." Matt. 5:12
"Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward." Heb 10:35
"Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for YE serve the LORD CHRIST." Col. 3:24

Thank you Debbie!
Those are great verses.
Thank you for your prayers...
Dear Andrea, Thank you for the hug and prayers...I needed that hug today!
Dear Regina, I am so glad to know that my sweet sisters are lifting me up in prayer and care.
My heart is heavy, but I know God will work all things out for good because I love the Lord! and it's a promise to those who Love the Lord and are the called according to His purpose. God is good even when my heart is breaking for the state of christianity and it's poor testimony and effect on my friends and loved ones and the state of the churches. It discouraging, always trying to explain truth to confused and dismayed friends and loved ones. This world is spiraling out of control and it the church... (the christians) sees it's ( their) state as safe, right with God, and ok! God help us! Open the eyes of your people, give them (us) the overwhelming desire to live a life that brings honor and glory to you, and save those who need to be saved who are not.
Does our life bring honor to the Lord? Do the choices we make honor the Lord or our fleshly desires.
Does our life bring Glory to God?
We as Gods children need to honestly examine our hearts and lives and make sure we are bringing honor and glory to our Lord and Saviour.
Love, ~ sister Darlene ~

I forgot to mention that I too get very heavy hearted over the way Christians behave and the way the church has gone the way of the world. I know the Lord too is so grieved over His sons and daughters .

Ah sister Darlene, of course you have my prayers. I can empathize with you. I have been in that low spot for weeks. The only thing that has kept me going for a long time is my relationship with God. I was even so low that at one point I was convinced He had abandoned me.
But...The Lord brings us out of it. It takes time and a lot of prayer. It also helps to get deeply into the Bible.During my low period I have been working on a verse by verse exposition of Romans8. I finally finished it yesterday. It took me almost a month to do it but every single minute of being in His Word and working on making an exposition of Romans 8 that I believe is very easy for everyone to understand has been a tremendous blessing to me.
(1 Thessalonians 5:16) Rejoice evermore.
(1 Thessalonians 5:17) Pray without ceasing.
(1 Thessalonians 5:18) In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
(1 Thessalonians 5:19) Quench not the Spirit.
(1 Thessalonians 5:20) Despise not prophesyings.
(1 Thessalonians 5:21) Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
(1 Thessalonians 5:22) Abstain from all appearance of evil.
(1 Thessalonians 5:23) And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In Christ, George

Love, ~ sister Darlene ~ Thank you Bro. George for the encouraging verses. I do not feel God has forsaken me I feel that christians ( not all, but most have forsaken God) Not totally but small foxes spoil the vine. Alot of christians are making choices displeasing to God, even when they know what the scriptures teach, they choose to do less than and call it good. They justify their actions because their preacher does it or does not do it, or the sweet sister in the church that loves God and is godly??? wears pants or listens to questionable music, etc... It breaks my heart to see my friends and loved ones so deceived. I know it grieves God! And it grieves the Holy Spirit...it quenches Him, no wonder people do not feel convicted in a particular area. They justify their actions comparing themselves with other people who say they are a christian instead of comparing their choices with the word of God.
I have seen the mighty hand of the Lord in the behalf of two of my confused and misguided loved ones. I have seen the Lord leading them to make some right choices and sending godly christians across their path to encourage them in the Lord. This is direct answer to my prayers and your prayers too. Thank you for praying...God is moving and working. Please continue to pray. Prayer is our battle ground...Christians are to pray without ceasing.Psalm 27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.God is good, my heart still aches for the state of our churches and Christianity. It makes me love the Lord even more. He is worthy is the Lamb that was slain.
Love, ~ sister Darlene ~

Sister Darlene,
I know how you feel. I feel the same. We get so tired of our Christianity. We go to the best church around our area and yet we don't see holinness, godliness, fear before the Lord. We have evangelists coming for the past two month and it's like a show. We are waiting for revival but there is no revival why? because there is no fear of the Lord. Evangelists now days preach so everybody likes them. They make funny faces, tell funny and cute stories, joke around and this is in the Holy place. Timothy and I get really frustrated. And then we wonder why there is no change in America. There will be no change if Gods people will continue doing what they are doing. We don't hear preaching anymore that is taught in Jude verse 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.KJVWe say I can't give up my pants, my TV, my short hair, make up, we make excuses not to wear head covering and it's all because of our PRIDE. If we were humble and meek and cared only about righteousnes and how to please our precious Lord we would not care about the worldly things. We need to read and study the Holy Word and pray, pray, pray that we may walk in the Truth and Truth will make us free. May the Lord help us to humble our selves and follow Him. Time is short, soon He will come in His glory to take His own home. Are you ready?
To God be the Glory.
